Current Residents

The majority of our foster dogs come to us locally from the Fairbanks Animal Shelter. A rare few come in from special need situations but we try our best to keep our focus on the shelter in order to take the pressure off their euthanization list.

It is a sad fact that there aren't enough spaces at the shelter for all the unwanted dogs in our community but we try our best to keep those we can, safe, sound and forever loved.

If your looking for a forever companion please browse through the dogs we have at the Sled Dog Sanctuary by clicking on the names to the left side of your screen. Or, if you know of someone who is looking for a companion please let them know about our site or have them visit their local animal shelter. There are many, many dogs out there who need your love. Look closely and your bound to find the perfect companion.
