Welcome!

To this day we have helped save the lives of over 51 sled dogs (36 adults, 15 puppies) with an average of 6 to 9 foster dogs living and working within Where Spirits Walk kennel waiting for their chance to find their forever homes.

Our success continues to grow every year as we rehabilitate, socialize and work our foster dogs into our dog team and our daily lives. Many of our rescued dogs have found homes within the state of Alaska and some have even made it down to the lower 48 states to live out their lives as working dogs or pampered house pets.

A huge thank you goes out to those who have helped us travel down this unique and rewarding trail of saving dogs lives. Please show your appreciation by visiting these businesses (shown below), purchasing their products or just stopping by to stay thanks for helping us continue to help these wonderful sled dogs.
